At Axi, we’re building world-class DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering teams to deliver, maintain, and operate our cutting-edge technology products. In this role, you’ll take ownership of our security framework across infrastructure, networks, endpoints, and data—contributing to our global technology delivery and ensuring our systems are safe, secure, and resilient.
You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to embed security best practices throughout our development and operational lifecycles, using automation and DevSecOps principles to reduce risk, drive efficiency, and support compliance. This is a hands-on engineering role, where you'll also act as a technical liaison for external security certifications and audits.
Your EDGE Assignment/You Will
- Operate as a core member of the Technology team and lead the implementation of our Security Framework across perimeter, endpoints, infrastructure, and data.
- Develop repeatable and consistent Security Solution Patterns for scalable deployments.
- Implement, configure, and manage cloud systems, servers, firewalls, and intrusion detection with a focus on infrastructure security best practices.
- Lead the configuration and operationalization of Microsoft Defender and XDR solutions across the organization.
- Ensure security compliance across environments aligned to frameworks such as SOC2, ISO 27001, and internal risk controls.
- Drive vulnerability management, from assessment to remediation, across systems and applications.
- Research and evaluate new security technologies, identify suitable solutions, and support multi-regional deployments.
- Act as the primary control point during security incidents and lead incident response coordination.
- Develop and maintain a strategy for audits and compliance activities, including ISO 27001 and external security assessments.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by integrating security into code delivery workflows and providing guidance on Azure DevSecOps best practices.
- Promote secure coding practices through integration of tools such as SAST/DAST, SonarQube, TLS/Cert management, and more.
Are you the one?
We’re looking for someone with hands-on engineering capability, strong security instincts, and the ability to lead from the front:
- Strong experience as a Security Engineer, with a focus on infrastructure security in cloud-native environments.
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender and XDR configuration and deployment.
- Solid experience with Azure Cloud Security, including Azure DevSecOps and CI/CD security practices.
- Deep understanding of TLS, certificate management, SAST/DAST, and related security tooling.
- Experience managing the vulnerability lifecycle, from identification to resolution.
- Strong grasp of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
- Coding/scripting experience; knowledge of Terraform or other IaC tools is desirable.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC2).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and business stakeholder
