Lead Web Optimization and UX Designer

We're seeking a talented Lead Web Optimization and UX Designer to join our application security company and drive our website's performance to new heights. In this role, you'll be responsible for optimizing our company website to generate sales qualified leads.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement user-centered design strategies to enhance website usability and conversion rates.
  • Conduct user research and analyze web data to identify areas for improvement and construct effective A/B tests.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize design solutions and present them to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, designers, and developers, to align website optimization efforts with business goals.
  • Optimize user journeys and implement clear paths from entry points to desired actions (e.g., demo requests, content downloads).
  • Design and implement responsive, mobile-friendly layouts to ensure seamless user experience across devices.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze website performance metrics to drive data-informed design decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, UX Design, Interaction Design, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in UX design, with a focus on web optimization and conversion rate optimization.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating successful web optimization projects and their impact on business metrics.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Experience with web analytics tools and A/B testing platforms (experience with Adobe products a plus).
  • Excellent communication skills to present design concepts and data-driven insights to stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret web data and translate insights into actionable design solutions.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with designers and developers to create cohesive, high-quality web experiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the cybersecurity or B2B SaaS industry.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and their impact on user experience.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.

As our Lead Web Optimization and UX Designer, you'll play a crucial role in driving our company's growth by creating intuitive, high-converting web experiences. Your work will directly impact our business revenue by increasing the number of qualified leads generated through our website.

The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $82,500-$123,800. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus. Black Duck offers a competitive total rewards package. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education. 

Pay Range

$82,500 - $123,800 USD
