CET Designer (Commercial Interiors)
Role Summary:
We’re seeking a design-driven CET expert to join a top-tier U.S. commercial furniture dealer representing brands like Haworth, Steelcase, Kimball, and Teknion. You’ll support multinational clients, delivering sophisticated, high-performance workplace environments globally, translating complex requirements into compelling, buildable commercial interiors.
In this role, you’ll lead the technical execution of office spaces while contributing to space planning and visual storytelling. Partnering with sales teams, designers, and stakeholders, you’ll produce innovative workspace solutions, fast-turnaround presentations, and polished visual materials that help win business—making a real impact on inspiring commercial spaces for global brands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and present dynamic, visually compelling workplace solutions using CET Designer and AutoCAD, translating client goals into high-performance commercial environments.
- Produce precise drawings, renderings, specifications, finish palettes, and presentation materials that directly support sales strategy and drive project wins.
- Lead detailed space planning efforts — integrating wall and panel systems, architectural plans, code requirements (ADA, LEED, WELL), and site conditions into accurate, buildable designs.
- Conduct field verifications, inventories, and measurements to ensure technical accuracy from concept through installation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, A&D firms, contractors, and technical partners (IT, electrical, etc.), delivering coordinated documentation and maintaining momentum throughout the project lifecycle.
- Own quality control by thoroughly reviewing all deliverables prior to release and preparing final documentation for order entry, installation, and as-builts.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, product knowledge, ergonomic standards, and technology integration through ongoing training and market engagement.
Qualifications:
- Advanced CET (Configura) expertise required, with strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, ProjectSpec, and Microsoft Office.
- 2-3+ years of experience in commercial furniture or workplace design, with a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field.
- Deep understanding of space planning, product applications, technical specifications, and commercial standards (ADA, LEED, WELL, ergonomics, technology integration).
- Strong English communication skills with the confidence to operate in a U.S.-based, client-facing environment.
- Highly detail-oriented, adaptable, and proactive — able to manage multiple fast-paced projects and quickly master new tools and workflows.
- Collaborative, solutions-driven mindset with the independence to thrive in a remote setting.
- Reliable home office setup (PC/laptop, 50+ Mbps internet) and availability to work U.S. business hours required.
What We Offer:
- Competitive Pay and Benefits.
- Opportunity to work with cutting-edge design technology.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, supportive team that values work-life balance.
- Play a key role in design operations—your impact on company growth will be evident.
- Join a culture that values your contributions and equips you with the tools to succeed.
- Be part of an innovative team that continuously learns and adapts.
