What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and system components.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and best practices.
- Write and maintain automated tests to ensure system stability and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Scrum environment.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve backend performance or stability issues.
- Participate in our on-call rotation, available at all times while on-call to help respond to and triage any issues that arise.
Who You Are
- 3+ years of professional programming experience with Java, Go or Scala.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and API design.
- Solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken) for effective collaboration in an international environment.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices, CI/CD, and modern development workflows.
Box values community and in-person collaboration. Boxers are expected to work from their assigned office a minimum of 3 days per week, with a focus on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Your recruiter will share more details about how we work and our culture during the hiring process.
