WHY BOX NEEDS YOU

As the Senior Product Manager, Zones you will shape and deliver the product vision for Zones, ensuring Box meets the data residency, compliance, and regulatory needs of customers worldwide. You will own the roadmap that lets organizations choose and manage geographic storage regions while preserving seamless collaboration and performance across Zones.

In this role you’ll work closely with engineering, security, legal/compliance, go-to-market, and customer-facing teams across the US, Poland, EMEA, and beyond. You’ll make Box services “zones-aware,” expand regional coverage, and drive adoption in regulated industries such as government, banking, defense, healthcare, and education. This cross-functional, customer-facing position requires strong stakeholder management, technical fluency, and the ability to translate complex compliance requirements into scalable, user-friendly product solutions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Define product strategy and roadmap for Box Zones features that address regulatory and data-residency needs.
  • Work closely with engineering and platform teams (US and Poland) to prioritize, scope, and deliver zones-aware services and region-specific capabilities.
  • Engage directly with customers in regulated sectors to validate requirements, gather feedback, and support complex use cases.
  • Define and continuously monitor, measure and report on key business and customer metrics
  • Prioritize opportunities, define requirements and execute cross-functionally (Engineering, Design, Analytics, Pricing, Legal, Sales, Marketing, etc.) to take features from concept to launch

WHO YOU ARE

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, ideally in compliance- or regulation-driven product requirements with deep technical complexity
  • Strong understanding of European data protection/regulatory landscape
  • Demonstrated experience engaging directly with technical customers and translating regulatory requirements into product decisions
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills; track record of working with engineering, security, legal/compliance, and go-to-market teams.
  • Experience owning product strategy and delivering features end-to-end in complex, multi-team environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, including experience presenting to senior executive audiences
