We are looking for an Azure Service Engineer to join us as we build cutting-edge technology solutions! This is your opportunity to be part of a team that is committed to delivering best in class service to our customers.
In this role, you will play a critical role in maintaining, supporting, and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure within the Azure ecosystem. You’ll work proactively to ensure the high availability, reliability, and performance of cloud services by leveraging your expertise in coding, cloud operations, and automation. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex issues and continuously improve operational processes.
Responsibilities:
- Automation and Optimization:
Develop and maintain scripts using Azure Automation, PowerShell, and Azure CLI to streamline routine processes, improve operational efficiency, and optimize cloud resource costs. - Incident and Problem Management:
Respond to service-related incidents, perform root cause analysis, and work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve issues quickly, minimizing impact to end users. - Service Monitoring and Maintenance:
Continuously monitor cloud services using tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics to maintain system health and proactively address potential service interruptions. - Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
Create and maintain detailed documentation on system configurations, troubleshooting steps, and operational procedures to support knowledge transfer and enable rapid resolution of future issues.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud operations, IT support, or service engineering with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
- Must have coding experience in C# or Java.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with:
- Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Networking, Azure Storage.
- PowerShell scripting or Azure CLI for automation and task simplification.
- Cloud-based troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Proficiency with monitoring and logging tools, including Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
- Familiarity with Azure Active Directory for identity and access management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with enterprise cloud environments or large-scale cloud operations.
- Microsoft Azure certifications such as:
- Azure Administrator Associate
- Azure Solutions Architect
- Previous experience supporting complex, cross-functional cloud service environments.
- Prior experience in environments with strong operational rigor and service level accountability.
Salary Range
Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic-based ranges for Washington state: $90,000 to $110,000 USD annually, with a midpoint of $100,000. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
