In This Role
You will be part of a dynamic cloud storage division focused on hybrid service development. This role emphasizes hands-on QA testing for cloud and infrastructure services, particularly around file synchronization, performance testing, and release validation. You'll contribute to cutting-edge product development while collaborating with engineering teams to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Execute end-to-end validation of cloud-based file synchronization pipelines.

Develop and run test scenarios for quarterly/patch (QFE) releases.

Conduct upgrade testing across agent versions, including matrix coverage for legacy compatibility.

Identify and investigate memory leaks, performance, and reliability issues.

Contribute to defect triage, failure analysis, and issue resolution cycles.

Maintain and fix automation scripts as needed.

Support service deployment activities and system configuration.

Coordinate bug bashes and ensure sign-offs for new features.

Manage test infrastructure including self-host machines and hardware patching.
Minimum Qualifications
-
10+ years of overall experience in software QA, system testing, or infrastructure validation.

Strong PowerShell scripting experience (minimum 10 years).

10+ years of experience with Windows Server environments.

Solid experience with Azure services, especially in testing/deployment contexts.

Strong documentation skills (Test Plans, Scripts, Results Reports).

Hands-on experience with bug tracking and defect management tools.

Ability to analyze and interpret test results and provide actionable recommendations.

Associate’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience working in large-scale cloud infrastructure environments.

Familiarity with hybrid file storage systems and related validation tools.

Experience with performance, stress, and memory leak testing methodologies.

Comfortable working in fast-paced, collaborative, and highly technical environments.

Prior experience working within enterprise QA frameworks or for large tech organizations.

Knowledge of database impact analysis and system usability testing.
Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state: $80,000 to $85,000 USD/annually. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
