In this role, you will be the first line of support for employees and play a crucial role in ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations. You will manage employee inquiries, support hiring and termination processes, and assist in benefits administration. Your responsibilities will include overseeing payroll coordination, ensuring compliance with HR policies, and maintaining accurate employment records. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal teams to enhance the overall employee experience, drive HR initiatives, and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities:
Our Human Resources team is looking for an HR Business Partner to support our team members in one of our consulting groups. The ideal candidate will have a strong business acumen, comfortable with working in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment. This role will work as a strategic partner to business line leaders and be the hands-on HR support for this team.
- Support leaders and managers assigned to your business group, both strategically with organizational design, coaching, and flexing your business and HR acumen
- Manage employee relations issues which include but are not limited to investigations, complaints, policy, and performance matters.
- Drive HR and engagement programs across engagements and support cross functional partners with their initiatives
- Partner with other HR and Benefits team members on HR initiatives, ER matters and cross functional coverage support
- Leverage data, analysis to proactively identify various HR related trends and work with both leaders and HR team to make recommendations to the business.
- Participates and manages designated Human Resource Audits and metric collection
- Assist in creating and implementation of policies and procedures, as it relates to safety, compliance, and company policies
- Partner with cross functional teams to identify training gaps and needs
- Oversee performance management and review process, annual review process, and employee development programs for your client groups
- Assist in identifying process improvement
- Work with HR team to contribute, develop and initiate new HR programs
- Must be able to support groups located on the East Coast, Central and Pacific time zones
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of proven Human Resources Business partner experience and or combined HR Generalist and Business Partner experience
- Understanding of labor law – Federal, State and Local
- Demonstrated experience in assessing risk and manage through resolution
- Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential matters with discretion
- Ability to build partnerships at all levels of the organization and be viewed as a trusted advisor to the business
- Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively
- Commitment to the development of people, process, and organization
- Willingness to pitch in where needed
- Ability to pivot quickly and find ways to adapt to the business need
- Through knowledge of employment laws including Texas and North Carolina
- Ability to work independently
- Able to manage multiple priories with competing deadlines and tight timelines
- Able to pivot quickly and find ways to adapt to business needs
- Maintain and handle confidential information with professional integrity
- HR certification a plus
- BA or BS preferable
Salary range:
Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state: $90,000 - $130,000 USD/annually. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
