Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure environmental compliance during all phases of construction.
-
Manage and support compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including the Clean Water Act (CWA) and Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) plans.
-
Prepare, review, and submit required environmental reports and documentation.
-
Identify compliance risks and recommend mitigation strategies to project stakeholders.
-
Support permitting and due diligence processes by reviewing site-specific environmental conditions and applicable regulatory requirements.
-
Track environmental metrics and contribute to environmental audits and performance assessments.
Qualifications
-
5+ years of experience in environmental compliance, preferably supporting construction or infrastructure development projects.
-
Strong knowledge of environmental regulations including CWA, SPCC, and relevant state and local requirements.
-
Demonstrated experience conducting field inspections and working with contractors and environmental consultants.
-
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with experience engaging regulatory bodies and cross-functional teams.
-
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple compliance tasks simultaneously.
-
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience supporting data center, energy, or other large-scale industrial construction projects.
-
Familiarity with region-specific environmental regulations in Washington, California, or Texas.
-
