
Compensation Systems Analyst
As a Compensation Systems Analyst, you are detail oriented- and technically proficient to support the design, configuration, and deployment of commission plans within our commission software platform. You will play a key role in ensuring sales compensation plans are implemented accurately, on time, and aligned with business goals.

This position is based out of our Waltham, MA office. We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role.
Your impact:
- Configure, test, and maintain sales commission plans and reporting in our commission software, CaptivateIQ
- Translate compensation plan documentation into system logic and workflows.
- Collaborate with Sales Operations, Finance, and HR to gather requirements and validate plan structures.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries or scripts to support data integration, plan logic, and reporting
- Troubleshoot and resolve commission discrepancies or calculation errors.
- Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and participate in QA cycles for plan changes and updates
- Support month-end and quarter-end commission processing cycles
- Prepare compensation insights to be shared with cross-functional teams via dashboards, reports and analytics from CaptivateIQ
- Provide documentation and knowledge transfer for plan configurations and updates
About you:
- 1 – 3 years of experience working with incentive compensation or commission software, CaptivateIQ preferred
- Familiarity with SQL and/or scripting languages
- Experience with data integration or CRM/ERP data (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite) is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment as an individual contributor
- Knowledge with commission plan structures and sales compensation best practices
- Strong time management, organizational, and critical thinking skills with a high attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
- Ideally a 4-year Bachelors’ degree
- 3+ years of related work experience, preferably in a compensation role
- 2+ years experience with commission software, preferred
