Manager, Career & Transfer Services

New York, New York, United States

About Campus

Campus is on a mission to accelerate the talent of tomorrow and reimagine what college can (and should) be. The problem is clear: college costs have skyrocketed, but outcomes haven’t. Traditional college hasn’t kept up with the aspirations of today’s students—and they can’t afford to wait.

At Campus, we’ve built a two-year, accredited college where students learn from top professors at universities like Princeton, Stanford, and Howard, in live, online classes. Our students graduate with in-demand business and AI skills—ready to launch their careers or transfer to top four-year universities. Our unique approach is grounded in a pioneering technology platform and a heavily-researched student success model that offers students dedicated advisors and on-demand tutoring and coaching. We were also named one of Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies of 2024

We’re backed by an exceptional investor team that believes deeply in our vision for the future of education, including General Catalyst, Founders Fund, Bloomberg Beta, 8VC, Rethink Education, Sam Altman, Jason Citron, Shaquille O’Neal, and others.

The world has changed. Higher ed needs to catch up, and we’re leading the way - come join us!

About the Team

The Campus Outcomes Team is an evolution of traditional Career and Transfer Services. Combining best-in-class student advisement informed by robust data analysis and understanding of the quickly changing higher-education and future-of-work trends, this team is committed to ensuring students have access to better than best-in-class opportunities beyond their time at Campus.

Outcomes Team is a subset of Campus Student Affairs, overseeing the end-to-end journey of enrolled students, from orientation through Alumni Services, providing both traditional administrative resources but moreover, the outside-the-classroom programming and resources including skill training, professional development, and career and transfer advisement to ensure their steps beyond Campus reach for the stars.

About the Role

We are seeking a Manager to oversee the Student Outcomes Journey’s delivery to a quickly growing student body, rigorously track, report, and continually improve its impact, and manage the day to day team and operations that serve as the inspiring keystone of this critical stage of student success.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Build and direct all operational systems to measure student engagement and success across the Outcomes journey and available services
  • Track and generate all reporting and metrics required for both day to day success as well as all regulatory purposes. Experience with DOE and regional higher education accreditor engagement is a significant plus
  • Manage the day-to-day team of student-facing coordinators (Outcomes Engineers) against established metrics of performance, engagement, and outcomes
  • Develop (and lead as needed) student workshops regarding career/professional development, transfer readiness, college discovery, and any other identified areas for upskilling and support
  • Build and support relationships with education and career partners to ensure our students have exceptional opportunities during and post Campus Graduation at both local and national levels
  • Spearhead student admissions advocacy with 4-year universities, building cross-institution awareness and ensuring Campus students have visibility within transfer-university admissions offices

We’re excited about you because…

  • You have a history of success building systems, processes, and operations that support your team’s - and consequently the student’s - success
  • You bring +3 years of experience growing and leading a team through data-informed insights as well as empathic understanding human centered design and experience. You understand how team dynamics shift throughout scaling and have successfully shepherded teams from single to double digits
  • You continually deepen and share (via thought leadership, professional development, association membership) your understanding of quickly changing workforce and higher education trends and the best practices of tomorrow
  • You do NOT want to consider Career Services, Transfer Advisement, or Student Affairs in anything but a future-facing “what could it be” mindset
  • You thrive in quickly growing environments (we’re a startup, not a lumbering educational institution) with a curiosity to continually improve the way work is done and the positive impact on your community

What you’ll get:

  • A compensation package that includes a base salary ($85,000k - $95,000k) + equity grant
    • Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, base salary is localized according to employee work location.
  • Medical Insurance + free Dental and Vision Insurance
  • 401(k) match
  • “Take what you need” PTO + several paid holidays
  • In-office lunches for our NY Office (did we mention, we’re dog friendly? 🐶)
  • Flexible working hours & a hybrid work schedule (Mon & Fri remote; Tues-Thurs in-office)
  • Social events - happy hours, birthday celebrations, holiday parties, & more
  • Opportunity to make an impact – you’ll be an integral player in bringing our vision to life
