Residential Security Sales Trainer

The Residential Sales Trainer plays a pivotal role in both building and delivering content to our growing team. The trainer has a direct impact delivering best-in-class service by helping with the onboarding and training of new hires, working daily with our Residential Sales teams.
Essential Functions
- Create and facilitate training applicable to the Residential Sales teams
- Partner with department managers to identify ongoing training opportunities
- Work closely with department managers and instructional design team to improve and develop content for new hire training and ongoing recursive training for both facilitator led and e-learning programs
- Proactively evaluate the success of all training programs through KPI’s
- Develop valid training assessment questions that correlate to learning objectives.
- Maintain training reports and support LMS management
- Provide updates to management regarding progress and performance of employees
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- Proven field sales experience
- Field-based role requiring 25-50% travel, with flexibility to be away for consecutive days
- Ability to share personal experiences and provide relevant examples during training
- Demonstrate flexibility and aptitude to learn, process and effectively implement new policies, and procedures as corporate standards are modified over time
- Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and creative skills, with excellent communication abilities and the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Exposure to CRM systems and/or Salesforce.com a plus
- Sales experience and/or strong customer service skills are highly desired
Other Experience Required
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent business experience
- 2 + years of experience in delivery, design, and/or development of training modules
- Prior Customer Support leadership or training is required
- Residential Security sales preferred
- Coaching experience or certification is a plus
