Human Resources Coordinator
Temporary contract (10 months)
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our team in Costa Rica. This role will play a crucial part in supporting our HR department by managing essential administrative tasks, ensuring smooth onboarding for new employees, coordinating with vendors, and contributing to a positive office environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR processes, excellent communication skills (both written and verbal in English), and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
You will:
- Generate and manage all necessary onboarding documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with onboarding-related tasks for an excellent experience for new hires.
- Maintain and update employee records in HRIS systems.
- Research and identify potential new vendors to support HR and office operations.
- Ensure timely and effective communication with vendors.
- Utilized and maintained HRIS systems for employee data management and reporting.
- Assist with HRIS implementation and migration projects.
- Manage documentation within Content Management Systems (CMS) like SharePoint.
- Support day-to-day office operations, including assistance in coordinating office/HR events.
- Organize and participate in employee engagement activities and initiatives.
- Utilize ticketing tools (e.g., Jira, ClickUp) to manage and resolve HR-related inquiries and requests.
- Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and company policies.
You have:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR department or an HR coordination/assistance role.
- Advanced proficiency in English (both written and verbal).
- Proven experience working with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, BambooHR).
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience managing documentation in CMS platforms like SharePoint.
- Experience with HRIS software implementation and/or migrations is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with ticketing tools (e.g., Jira, ClickUp, or similar).
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Experience in office management and vendor coordination.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
