We’re looking for a highly organized and proactive Program Manager to join our team. In this role, you’ll work closely with Product and Engineering teams to track release management, oversee project status, and ensure that our projects are delivered on time and within scope. If you’re detail-oriented, an excellent communicator, and have experience working with cross-functional teams, we want to hear from you.

This role will be based in Bengaluru, India.  After an in-office onboarding period, incumbents are expected to be available in office for a few days per week as part of a hybrid work model. 

 

Day in the Life

Project Support:

  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Support project managers in coordinating tasks, meetings, and resources.
  • Track project deliverables and milestones, ensuring that deadlines are met.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including meeting minutes, status reports, and risk logs.
  • Prepare and distribute project status updates to stakeholders.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for management review.

Process Improvement:

  • Support the continuous improvement of project management processes, tools, and templates.
  • Contribute ideas and suggestions to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Liaise with project teams and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project objectives.
  • Address basic inquiries from team members and escalate issues to the Sr. Manager, Program Management when necessary.

Risk & Issue Management:

  • Assist in identifying, documenting, and tracking project risks and issues.


Who You Are:

  • 2+ years in project management, coordination, or a related role working with product and/or engineering.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong organizational mindset.
  • Excellent English communicator, able to convey complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experienced in working with product and engineering teams to manage and track project progress.
  • Proactive in identifying potential challenges and addressing them before they impact project outcomes.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple concurrent projects.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Degreed offers a range of work arrangements depending on the role. Some positions are fully remote, while others are hybrid if you’re near an office. Please check the job details for specifics.

In remote or hybrid roles, you’ll collaborate virtually using tools like Zoom and Slack. You’ll need to operate a laptop and remain stationary for extended periods, with the ability to interpret written and verbal communication.
