Golin LA is looking for a Director of Influencer Marketing to join (and grow) our digital team. You will play a vital role collaborating a team of digital strategists and tacticians, while delivering creative and results-driven solutions for our clients. This all-encompassing digital leadership role will have you identifying and providing POVs on real-time opportunities, issues and trends, as well as creating and executing large and small-scale marketing campaigns for clients. Your role will include fostering integration among IAT/social/PR teams, driving channel and social strategy for a range of clients, and driving and overseeing content creative to run across a variety of digital platforms (including organic and paid) to drive optimal results.

What You’ll Do:
- Build influencer strategies that are rooted in data and extend across paid, owned and earned
- Lead and maintain productive and influential client relationships
- Provide strategic influencer counsel across clients and bringing best practices, trends and capabilities to clients
- Build organic influencer work within existing client portfolio
- Drive new business opportunities working with integrated teams and also bringing in net new, new business opportunities
- Foster and build influencer and agent relationships, creating networking opportunities and raising client visibility
- Cultivate a culture of support, growth and partnership among teams and in collaboration with clients and agency partners
- Hold and set a high bar for executing smart and sound ideas, flawless execution of client programs and internal project management
- Serve as an integral member of the account team addressing the varied and changing needs of clients, proactively providing thoughtful ideas and solutions
- Have a command of the business and use that knowledge to collaborate with internal team members to develop and execute ideas and campaigns. Using that knowledge to become a “go-to” resource for your team and your client
- Manage the budget, manage timely billing and reporting, and work with Agency finance team
What You Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field with 10-12 years’ experience at a PR, Digital or Integrated Marketing Agency
- Passion for influencer marketing and client service with an ability to juggle multiple projects and changing priorities.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation and problem-solving skills
- Proven experience leading large-scale projects
- Consumer lifestyle, beauty, and consumer tech client experience
- Deep understanding and expertise in paid and earned influencer
- Ability to execute and measure multifaceted campaigns and day-to-day communications initiatives
- A strong understanding of influencer marketing strategies, ability to integrate campaign strategies and tactics across earned, owned and paid social channels, and apply analytics to measure results and provide insights
- Poise and calm under pressure and a desire to immerse yourself in a client's business to become a true partner
Golin has included the base salary range or hourly rate for this role. Actual compensation offered within the range will depend upon, among other factors: a candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience; actual ranges for current or former employees in the role; and market considerations.
Salary range:
$120,000 - $150,000
