Overview:

Archadeck Outdoor Living, part of the Empower Brand, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Franchise Business Consultant (FBC) to support and guide our franchise network. As a Franchise Business Consultant, you will work directly with franchisees, serving as their coach, mentor, and trusted advisor. Your goal will be to help franchise owners optimize their operations, drive business growth, and maintain high performance across their locations. This role is split with approximately 30% of your time assisting new offices with ramping up and exceeding expectations, and 70% of your time focusing on supporting existing offices to grow same-store sales. You will play a critical role in helping franchisees achieve their business objectives and uphold the Archadeck brand’s high standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with up to 30 franchisees, ensuring open communication and trust.
  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to identify challenges, opportunities, and goals for each franchisee.
  • Develop tailored action plans for individual franchisees, helping them optimize performance and achieve specific business goals.
  • Mentor franchisees in the implementation of standardized methods, best practices, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive their success.
  • Offer ongoing support to franchisees, helping them navigate challenges and capitalize on new opportunities.

 

Strategic Growth Coaching & Development

  • Provide continuous coaching in areas such as leadership, sales, operational management, and customer service to help franchisees grow their businesses.
  • Lead weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly coaching calls to review KPIs, celebrate successes, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with franchisees to develop and implement strategic business plans that focus on both short-term and long-term growth.
  • Lead training workshops, webinars, and seminars on topics such as marketing, sales strategies, customer service excellence, and operational best practices.
  • Assist franchisees in identifying new market opportunities, expanding operations, and capitalizing on industry trends.
  • Provide expert guidance on business expansion, market entry, financial planning, and cost-control strategies.

 

Operational Excellence

  • Evaluate and enhance franchise operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and compliance with Archadeck’s brand standards.
  • Conduct on-site field visits to assess franchisee operations, offering actionable insights and recommendations for improvements.
  • Share best practices and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) across the franchise network to improve operational efficiency.
  • Analyze operational data and provide strategic recommendations to enhance key business areas, including staffing, inventory management, and service delivery.

 

Financial Analysis & Management

  • Perform in-depth financial analysis (P&L, sales reports, benchmarking) to assess franchisee performance.
  • Work with franchisees to identify opportunities for cost reduction, profitability improvement, and sales growth.
  • Provide guidance on additional revenue streams, such as seasonal campaigns, marketing initiatives, and special services.
  • Ensure franchisees are meeting financial targets, offering actionable strategies to help them achieve and exceed their goals.

 

Brand Initiative & Operations

  • Assist Brand President and Director on a Archadeck initiatives including but not limited to: Franchisee In-Person meetings, operational initiatives, vendor management, and other pointed at support of our franchisees

 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in franchise support, business consulting, small business ownership, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of franchise operations, key business metrics, and best practices in a multi-location business.
  • Proven ability to mentor and coach franchisees, helping them achieve success while maintaining a strong focus on the brand’s values and operational standards.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with franchisees, leadership teams, and cross-functional colleagues.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset, with experience in developing and executing business plans.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear and constructive feedback.
  • Experience working with franchisees in the home services or related industries is a plus.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding performance goals and KPIs.
  • Tech-savvy, with experience using CRM tools, reporting systems, and performance tracking software to monitor franchisee performance and drive results.
