Your Role:
As a Capital Markets Analyst I, you will be expected to support the team's efforts in researching and analyzing capital market trends, assist in equity/debt financing activities (especially in financial modeling and calculations). You will also be assisting in building up and maintaining professional project management and setting up capital markets program management system. You will be actively involved in communication with existing investors and assist to develop capital markets confidence and belief in the company’s vision, ability and strategy for continuously deliver values to the company’s stockholders.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for finance and capital markets to contribute to the growth and success of our organization. This position will report to the Director of Investment and Fundraising, Capital Markets and work closely with FF’s global leadership team and FF’s investor networks.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to support capital markets activities, including identifying trends, analyzing data, and preparing reports.
- Perform calculations related to financial metrics, valuations, and forecasts.
- Assist in analyzing financial statements and preparing financial projections.
- Develop and manage Capital team projects, timelines, and deliverables for fundraising activities. Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Proactiveness in challenging the status quo, and ability to identify areas for improvement and actionable solutions to achieve the desired improvement.
- Monitor and track ongoing financing activities, ensuring timely updates and reporting.
- Support in professional project management from concept to completion, inclusive of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, equity and debt financing, and other key strategic projects.
- Support investor communications by coordinating investor visits, roadshows, meetings and conference calls, and other relative events associated with the company’s capital financing initiatives.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of financing activities, including terms, conditions, and timelines.
- Prepare and manage team meetings as well as take meeting minutes, action items and progress on key tasks assigned on a daily and weekly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of financial documents related to liquidity, funding and capital for discussion with the Board of Directors, senior management, clients, ratings agencies, and regulators.
- Support and coordinate capital markets team in financing initiatives with due diligence in term sheet preparation, etc.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or a closely related field of study.
- At least a year’s experience working in similar capacity.
- Familiarity with the start-up business environment, specialties in strategy, communications, finance, business development, cooperative agreements and partnerships.
- Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work in a diverse multi-national multi-cultural environment and drive value-adding changes across various business areas with client-focused mindset.
- Strong understanding of industry trends and technologies and capability to assist in relationships management with investors in the capital market.
- Familiarity with marketing tools and budget management.
- Ability to draft engaging and influential messages intended for both internal staff and external investors with minimum supervision.
- Ability to manage challenging workload that may often require overtime, including weekends as necessary.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Fluent in English.
- Excellent communication skills, and creative problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA/MSBA/Master of Finance degree in Finance, Business or a closely related field of study is preferred.
- Proficiency in developing online and offline marketing assets using data-driven insights is highly desired.
- Any experience in relationship-building is a plus.
Annual Salary Range:
($69K - $75K DOE), plus benefits and incentive plans
