Geotab is seeking a Manager, Product Delivery Management who will be responsible for leading and overseeing the daily operations of the product delivery function. If you love technology, and are keen to join an industry leader — we would love to hear from you!

What you'll do:

As the Manager, Product Delivery Management your key area of responsibility will be to lead a team of contract manufacturing managers and product delivery managers, ensuring a seamless coordination between product, supply chain & logistics, engineering and manufacturing operations. This role focuses on managing contract manufacturing projects, optimizing operational processes, and ensuring a timely delivery of products. 

How you'll make an impact:

  • Lead, mentor and manage a team of contract manufacturing managers and product delivery managers to ensure efficient operations and alignment with business goals.
  • Oversee the execution and management of contract manufacturing readiness during NPI (New Product Introduction), ensuring compliance with quality, cost and delivery requirements.
  • Coordinate between internal teams and contract manufacturers to ensure timely product delivery while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Oversee the operational planning and the execution of product launches, ensuring all manufacturing and delivery requirements are met on time and within budget.
  • Oversee product lifecycle and SKU expansion activities.
  • Ensure contract manufacturers are meeting the company’s specifications, standards, and delivery commitments.
  • Effectively collaborate with procurement, supply chain and quality teams to ensure materials are sourced and delivered on time for production. 
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing and delivery process, implementing best practices and lean principles.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards and company policies across all manufacturing activities.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • 8-10 years of manufacturing engineering, operation management with a focus on quality control and process improvement.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role, leading a high-performing team.
  • In-depth understanding of managing relationships with contract manufacturers, including negotiation, compliance and performance monitoring to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
  • Expertise in overseeing product delivery process including managing timelines, coordinating between suppliers, production and logistics teams and ensuring efficient product launches.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing techniques, process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean,. Six Sigma) and ability to optimize workflows to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and lower production costs.
  • Experience in mechanical or manufacturing engineering, with the ability to oversee complex technical challenges and collaborate with cross-functional teams on issues.
  • Familiarly with quality assurance and control processes, including experience with quality standards and the ability to ensure contract manufacturers meet all quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong project management experience including experience with project planning, risk management, and resource allocation to oversee complex product delivery projects and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor a diverse team of project managers with a focus on fostering collaboration, driving results and developing team members’ skills and capabilities.
  • Ability to travel internationally.
