We're looking for an amazing Sales Specialist that will develop sales activity with their assigned reseller partners by presenting solutions and opportunities for growth.
What you'll do:
A successful Sales Specialist, will develop a deep knowledge of all Geotab solutions, in order to support partner technical needs as well identify potential areas for growth. By establishing trusted relationships and managing regular interactions with these accounts, the Sales Specialist will develop strong, collaborative relationships and provide innovative and valuable business recommendations to increase reseller product knowledge and overall sales activity.
How you'll make an impact

Maximize the opportunities available to our partners by identifying opportunities to expand their Geotab revenue stream.

Identify needs from assigned partners and match to product functionality through product demonstrations.

Provide thorough, timely, successful resolution to inbound inquiries from partners

Professionally represent Geotab with potential customers and prospects.

Document sales and marketing activity through Salesforce - maintain and update accurately and regularly.

Provide account related support for senior teammates as needed. Coach and develop assigned reseller network on Geotab solutions via platform training, webinars and connection with internal Geotab teams that can help reseller development

Provide reseller related support for large scale projects. These include, but are not limited to ticket monitoring, order management, major channel projects.

Maintain current knowledge of all Geotab solutions, technology platforms, competitors and industry trends that impact the partner network.

Gain knowledge, insight and understanding from the channel/account managers/BDMs regarding customer needs/challenges.

Align your product pitch to the partner’s needs and core business.

Participate in sales and channel development strategies to assist the company in optimizing information related to the industry and customer needs.

Build company credibility, brand value, and trust within the assigned business channel and their customer base.

Support Geotab global strategic initiatives.
What you'll bring to the role

1- years experience in technical sales
-
Transportation industry knowledge, an understanding of fleet management and telematics preferred.

Channel experience/knowledge preferred.

Strong aptitude for understanding technical and business requirements.

Excellent verbal communication skills, including comfort with delivering presentations and training.

Excellent written communication skills, able to document technology solutions in precise detail.

Strong skills in developing and maintaining client relationships.
-
Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
-
Ability to translate technical solutions to meet customer requirements.
-
Technical competence using software programs, including, but not limited to, Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.

Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable in a flat organization.

Moderate - up to 20-25% - internal and partner meetings/events.

Passport required.

Ability to travel internationally.
