The Opportunity
We’re looking for an Executive Assistant to serve as a trusted partner to the General Counsel in the day-to-day management of the Legal function. This role is based in our San Francisco hub and requires in-office presence 2–3 times per week.
As the Legal team Executive Assistant, you’ll be a strategic and operational partner to our General Counsel and will offer light support to the Legal Leadership Team (LLT) — not just managing logistics but helping leadership stay focused, prepared, and connected to what matters most. You’ll work at the intersection of company-wide priorities and functional execution, gaining exposure to the company’s legal strategy, operations, and decision-making.
In this role, you will:
- Partner closely with the General Counsel and LLT to prepare for key internal meetings by drafting agendas, coordinating and executing plans for onsites and offsites, facilitating meeting logistics, and proactively extending the team’s effectiveness through strategic and operational support.
- Own and optimize daily workflow by managing a complex and dynamic calendar, coordinating travel logistics, organizing the inbox, and submitting expenses.
- Partner with the Legal Operations function in processing purchase requisitions, maintaining knowledge bases, and acting as backup admin in the platforms in our legal operations tech-stack.
- Design and maintain systems that foster clarity and efficiency, including streamlined Coda docs, polished Google Slides decks, and team communications that align stakeholders and drive momentum.
- Provide high-level administrative and transactional support to the General Counsel and LLT, including coordination of M&A activities such as managing virtual data rooms, liaising with outside counsel, arranging notary and apostille services, and ensuring timely execution and tracking of closing documents.
- Track and manage cross-functional action items to ensure follow-ups are completed and nothing slips through the cracks. Keep initiatives moving forward with thoughtful attention to detail and accountability.
- Provide support to the broader leadership team, stepping in to assist with projects, meetings, or org-wide initiatives that benefit from your logistical or strategic support.
- Help the LLT stay connected with the entire org by identifying and facilitating moments of recognition, celebration, and personal connection, reinforcing a strong, engaged team culture.
- Handle highly confidential information with a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and emotional intelligence, maintaining trust and integrity at all times.

- Thrive working in a fast-paced, innovative, tech industry environment.
- Act as a true force multiplier for executives — anticipating needs, managing details, and creating leverage in every interaction.
- Remain calm, resourceful, and solution-oriented in the face of ambiguity or rapid change, consistently bringing a steady and thoughtful approach to problem-solving.
- Communicate with clarity and empathy, both in writing and in person, helping to refine and elevate the General Counsel’s voice in internal documents and presentations.
- Have familiarity with various legal tools and processes related to corporate transactions.
- Bring 7+ years of experience supporting senior leaders, ideally in fast-paced, high-growth, or cross-functional environments. Experience with in-house legal team support or law firm support preferred.
- Care deeply about people and team culture, and are energized by helping high-performing teams stay connected, aligned, and effective.
