Graphic Designer - D&D
We take play seriously. We’re looking for curious adventurers ready to find their party, fueled by imagination and drive to build what’s never been built before. At Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast, you’ll collaborate with passionate teams to reimagine our iconic brands and create experiences that spark joy, connection, and community through the magic of play. This is your chance to shape legendary play that lasts a lifetime.
What You'll Do:
- Lead the design and layout for full-scale Dungeons & Dragons products, including core rulebooks, campaign settings, and high-profile releases!
- Establish and evolve visual systems for product lines—creating templates, design languages, and typographic hierarchies that support both usability and immersive worldbuilding.
- Concept and create graphic style guides, cover designs, specialty packaging, and non-standard formats (deluxe editions, inserts, accessories).
- Serve as the graphic design lead on projects: scoping design needs, coordinating with editors, illustrators, and production, and ensuring all visual assets deliver on time at a high standard.
- Support the art team by collaborating with Art Directors, Production Artists, and Digital Designers to ensure each product feels cohesive, accessible, and inspiring.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of design tools, workflows, and asset pipelines in collaboration with production and digital teams.
What You'll Bring:
- 3+ years of professional experience in graphic design, layout, or publishing with a proven track record to own and deliver sophisticated design projects.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, with expert-level understanding of layout systems and typography.
- A portfolio that shows clean, high-impact editorial design with an emphasis on fantasy, storytelling, or entertainment properties.
- Proven track record to lead design reviews and provide creative direction on layout execution and visual structure.
- Experience managing production timelines and collaborating cross-functionally with art, editorial, and print production teams.
- Strong creative judgment paired with excellent technical execution and a deep respect for detail.
- Strong communication skills and comfortable giving and receiving feedback.
- High attention to detail and organization.
- Experience working with existing IPs and franchises.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with accessibility standards in publishing or interactive storytelling.
- Knowledge of D&D’s tone, audience, and content structure, or similar genre entertainment brands.
- Comfortable working across print, digital, and marketing platforms as needed.
- Love for entertainment, other TTRPG brands, and exploring new avenues in traditional graphic design practices.
