This is a hybrid role (3 days in the office / 2 days remote).
Interactive Brokers is seeking an associate to join our Brokerage Operations Team. The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic and is naturally curious, adaptable, and solution-oriented. The candidate must develop a keen understanding of IBKR's infrastructure, systems, products, and offerings. Responsibilities range from operational tasks to project management to enhancing existing processes and optimizing new processes. Assignments vary according to an individual's experience, skill set, and business needs.
What will be your responsibilities within IBKR:
- Creating and applying custom solutions for institutional and enterprise clients.
- Liaising and assisting with project stakeholders, including sales representatives, internal departments, clients, and counterparties.
- Providing research support and troubleshooting issues
- Owning and managing processes
- Implementing and completing operational tasks
Which skills are required:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, project management or another related field
- Experience: 1+ years of financial industry experience, preferably in trading, financial services, or brokerage
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial markets and trading, in particular
- Technical: Computer proficiency (Windows, Outlook, Excel) and ability to quickly learn new (proprietary) software.
