Product Manager, Structured Investments - Vice President / Senior Vice President

About the Role

 

iCapital is seeking an experienced Product Manager to drive the evolution and scale of the structured investments platform in a highly collaborative, results-driven environment. This role partners closely with Senior Business, Engineering, and Product Leaders to solve complex industry-wide problems and shape the future of the structured investments ecosystem. This position works directly with wealth management firms, financial advisors, issuers, wholesalers, and executive stakeholders to deliver scale, operational efficiency, and innovation. This is a highly visible leadership role within one of the firm’s most strategically important businesses.

 

The ideal candidate is proactive, effective in navigating complexity and ambiguity, and experienced in leading large cross-functional initiatives, developing product managers, and building organizational leverage. This role is suited for someone energized by creating clarity, scaling systems, and driving meaningful business impact in a fast-evolving environment. This role owns and leads key domains of the structured investments platform from strategy through execution and operationalization, including setting direction, managing prioritization and stakeholder alignment, coaching product managers, and partnering with engineering and business leadership to ensure platform scalability.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Engage with wealth management firms, financial advisors, structured investments issuers, wholesalers, and executive stakeholders to identify strategic opportunities and shape the future direction of the structured investments platform.
  • Own and lead major product domains and strategic initiatives across the platform, ensuring strong execution, scalability, and alignment with long-term business objectives.
  • Drive product strategy, prioritization, roadmap planning, and cross-functional alignment across engineering, operations, sales, marketing, and other product organizations.
  • Operate effectively in environments with significant complexity and ambiguity, proactively identifying organizational, operational, and product gaps while driving alignment and execution across teams.
  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of product development from conception through launch, iteration, and operational scaling.
  • Build organizational leverage by developing scalable product processes, improving cross-functional coordination, and helping create clarity in rapidly evolving environments.
  • Mentor and develop product managers while fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, excellence, and continuous learning.
  • Partner closely with engineering leadership to ensure strong execution, operational continuity, and effective prioritization across multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and executive leadership regarding product strategy, prioritization, execution risks, and business impact.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools and workflows to improve productivity, analysis, communication quality, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Monitor the performance of product areas post-launch and continuously seek opportunities to improve user experience, scalability, and operational efficiency.

 

Qualifications

 

  • 9+ years of product management experience, preferably within fintech, wealth management, capital markets, or related industries
  • Demonstrated success owning and scaling complex product domains in fast-paced, high-growth, or highly ambiguous environments
  • Proven ability to independently drive strategy, prioritization, and execution across large cross-functional organizations
  • Experience managing and developing product managers, including delegation, prioritization, and organizational leadership
  • Strong systems thinking and product judgment, with the ability to balance strategic vision, operational realities, and business impact
  • Willingness and initiative to become a deep expert in the structured investments space, understanding both the product intricacies and broader industry dynamics
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience influencing senior business and engineering leaders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of navigating complex and unfamiliar challenges effectively
  • Technical acumen and comfortable partnering closely with engineering organizations to drive scalable platform solutions
  • Experience with agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Figma, analytics dashboards, Postman, and modern AI productivity tools
  • Comfortable operating with a high degree of ownership, autonomy, and accountability
  • Able to balance strategic leadership with pragmatic execution in rapidly evolving environments

 

Benefits

 

The base salary range for this role is $160,000 to $230,000 depending on level and experience.  iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus. Employees also receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes an employer matched retirement plan, generously subsidized healthcare with 100% employer paid dental, vision, telemedicine, and virtual mental health counseling, parental leave, and unlimited paid time off (PTO).

 

We believe the best ideas and innovation happen when we are together. Employees in this role will work in the office Monday-Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday.
