Product Manager, Structured Investments - Assistant Vice President / Vice President

About the Role

 

iCapital is seeking a highly motivated Product Manager to lead buildouts of the structured investments platform in a collaborative, results-driven environment. This role partners directly with wealth management firms, financial advisors, issuers, wholesalers, and internal stakeholders to bring scale, analysis, and efficiency to the industry.  This is a highly visible important opportunity offering significant ownership and growth as the platform scales. The ideal candidate is proactive, thrives in complexity and ambiguity, and is energized by independently driving outcomes and creating structure.

 

This position owns key areas of the platform from conception through launch and iteration, including identifying unmet needs, defining requirements, and partnering with engineering and business stakeholders to execute across multiple initiatives. Operating in a fast-paced, agile environment, the role emphasizes rapid deployment, continuous learning, and a flexible, multi-disciplinary approach.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Engage with wealth management firms, financial advisors, structured investments issuers, wholesalers, and internal stakeholders to identify market opportunities and propose innovative solutions to address unmet needs in the structured investments industry.
  • Own and drive meaningful product domains or strategic initiatives across the structured investments platform, ensuring strong execution, operational continuity, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Define product requirements by writing detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for software engineers.
  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of product feature and workflow development from conception to launch, including testing, iteration, and ongoing optimization.
  • Operate effectively in environments with significant complexity and ambiguity, proactively identifying gaps, proposing solutions, and driving alignment across stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively with business stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and align product vision, prioritization, and execution plans.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project communication plans, ensuring transparency and alignment across teams such as sales, marketing, engineering, operations, and other product lines.
  • Investigate bugs and identify tactical solutions to production issues impacting users.
  • Monitor the performance of product features post-launch and continuously seek opportunities for improvement.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools and workflows to improve productivity, analysis, communication quality, and overall execution effectiveness.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, ownership, and continuous learning within the team.

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably within fintech, wealth management, capital markets, or related industries
  • Demonstrated ability to independently drive complex initiatives and operate with a high degree of ownership and accountability
  • Willingness to become an expert in the structured investments space, understanding both the product intricacies and broader industry dynamics to drive informed decision-making and product leadership
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of solving complex and unfamiliar problems through innovative solutions
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environments with changing priorities and imperfect information
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining high-quality execution
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to build trust and alignment across technical and business teams
  • Customer-centric approach, with experience engaging directly with clients and stakeholders to gather insights and feedback
  • Technical acumen and comfort working closely with engineering teams to solve problems and deliver scalable solutions
  • Experience with agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Figma, analytics dashboards, Postman, and modern AI productivity tools
  • Detail-oriented, and able to write comprehensive user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Desire to grow into broader product leadership responsibilities within a rapidly scaling organization

 

 

Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $130,000 to $190,000 depending on level and experience.  iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
