Client Delivery - Assistant Vice President

About the Role

iCapital is looking to hire a Client Delivery AVP to join the Annuities Platform team. This role provides operational, portfolio, and people leadership across the Carrier/Distributor client portfolio.

The role is accountable for successful and on-time delivery of SaaS implementations, enhancements, and ongoing client initiatives, including project governance, portfolio financial performance, resource management, client escalations, and transition to ongoing support. The role leads Project Coordinators, Business Analysts, Configuration Analysts, and other delivery resources, and serves as a key connection point among Client Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Sales, and Support.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a portfolio of Carrier/Distributor client implementations, enhancements, and strategic initiatives, ensuring successful delivery, client satisfaction, and business outcomes.
  • Serve as the primary delivery leader for assigned clients, building trusted relationships and aligning delivery efforts with client goals and strategic objectives.
  • Provide oversight of project governance, timelines, scope, milestones, risks, dependencies, resource allocation, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Lead teams consisting of Project Coordinators, Business Analysts, Configuration Analysts, and other delivery resources to successfully deliver client implementations, enhancements, and strategic initiatives.
  • Manage portfolio capacity planning and resource utilization to ensure projects are appropriately staffed and aligned to business priorities.
  • Drive project and portfolio health by proactively managing risks, issues, escalations, dependencies, change requests, and stakeholder communications.
  • Own portfolio financial performance, including forecasting, revenue, margin management, billing accuracy, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure accurate project reporting, portfolio visibility, and adherence to project management standards, tools, and delivery processes.
  • Serve as a senior escalation point for complex client and cross-functional delivery issues, driving timely resolution and executive visibility when needed.
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Operations, Finance, Sales, Support, and Client Success teams to deliver client outcomes and remove delivery obstacles.
  • Promote continuous improvement through enhanced governance, reporting, change management, implementation practices, and operational processes.

Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • 7+ years of project management or delivery leadership experience implementing Software/SaaS solutions in financial services or insurance.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a client portfolio, portfolio financial performance, and multiple teams concurrently.
  • Experience managing the performance of Project Coordinators/Managers, Business Analysts, and cross-functional delivery teams.
  • Proven success leading SaaS projects and programs on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Experience leading, motivating, and managing teams of varying sizes, including internal and external resources.
  • Experience in financial services/financial software applications is required,
  • Insurance experience in Life, Annuity, Property & Casualty applications is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, team building, and change leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively while adapting to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with JIRA is required, Cantata is a plus.

Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $110,000 to $130,000.  iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
