Finance Intern

BROAD FUNCTION:

The Interpublic Group of Companies is looking for an undergraduate student to join for an internship with the purpose to assist the IT Finance organization.

This intern position is located in Omaha, NE and prefers a year or longer internship. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Primary responsibilities will be initiating and tracking intercompany billing to IPG’s agencies.
  • Assist in analytical and management support activities.
  • Special assignments will be provided by the Finance Manager that involves the use of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have completed first year at an accredited four year college/university
  • Finance/Accounting major/experience preferred
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a timely manner
  • Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment. And exhibit a “can do” - helpful attitude

The rate for this position is $16.00/ hour. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid this amount will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicants background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
