Lightspeed is looking for a Marketing Project Manager in Montrèal to support key marketing initiatives and creative projects. If you are a seasoned project manager with experience working with video production or multidisciplinary teams in marketing, we want to hear from you.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Marketing Operations, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our Motion and Experience Design (XD) teams are set up for success with clear priorities, project plans and timelines. You’ll take ownership of project boards, managing traffic and capacity planning in partnership with marketing leaders and project managers. You’ll coordinate with internal and external partners to execute on the Motion & XD roadmaps, creating workbacks and production plans, overseeing projects from brief to go-live and ensuring video and digital assets are delivered on time, every time.
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage motion design projects, including capacity and production planning, managing traffic and prioritizing deadlines, in collaboration with project leads and managers
- Manage website projects, including planning and coordination of UX and conversion rate optimization initiatives, in collaboration with design, website and CRO managers
- Turn briefs into actionable project plans, including workbacks for animation and video creation, pre-to-post production timelines and coordination with internal and external teams
- Manage multiple marketing projects across cross-functional teams and workstreams
- Continually manage priorities by collaborating with internal project owners, project teams and key marketing leaders to identify, avoid and escalate conflicts
- Liaise closely with the content creation, design, motion, growth and marketing teams to ensure marketing objectives, messaging and visuals are aligned
- Ensure projects and deliverables are clearly outlined using project management tools (JIRA and Monday.com)
- Track progress, develop status reports, lead project retrospectives
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives across departments and regions, and improve upon marketing operations
What you need to bring:
- 2-4+ years experience in Project or Creative Operations Management in Marketing or other creative fields.
- Experience managing video production and post-production timelines and deliverables.
- Experience working with website teams, including CRO, web dev and digital experience designers.
- Knowledge of project management principles, methods, and techniques.
- Experience driving conversations with internal clients around scope, schedule, and budget as well as roadmaps, objectives, and strategies.
- Ability to work with teams across multiple departments and around the globe.
- Proven experience using an integrated approach to project planning and management.
- Thorough understanding of creative processes and production of marketing assets.
- Flexible in responding to changes in business priorities; proven ability to work effectively under multiple, competing deadlines.
- Experience with project management tools (JIRA, Monday.com).
- PMP certification or equivalent preferable.
