Talent Management Lead

We are looking for a Senior People Business Partner - Talent Management to help shape how MaintainX grows, develops, and retains talent at scale. Reporting to the Senior Manager, People Business Partnerships, you’ll act as both a strategic business partner and a program builder, with a primary focus on designing and delivering scalable talent management initiatives.
This is an ideal role for a People Business Partner who discovered that their passion lies in building programs, performance frameworks, career paths, leadership development, succession planning, that unlock business performance. You’ll leverage your People Business Partner instincts to deeply understand the business while channeling them into programs that elevate leaders, employees, and the overall employee experience in a hyper-growth environment.
What you’ll do:
Talent Programs & Performance:
- Build and run our performance enablement framework, ensuring it drives accountability, clarity, and growth across the business.
- Partner with People Business Partners and leaders to embed continuous feedback, development conversations, and clear goal-setting into team culture.
- Support the evolution of career frameworks, progression models, and job architecture that create transparency and scalability.
Leadership Development & Succession:
- Collaborate with the Senior Manager, PBPs, and executives to identify leadership capability needs and design targeted programs.
- Run succession planning processes for critical roles and ensure readiness of talent pipelines.
Support leadership development programs, including new manager enablement and ongoing leader capability building.
Engagement & Culture
- Lead the design and execution of employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, listening sessions, and action planning.
- Translate employee insights into concrete initiatives that improve retention, motivation, and inclusion.
- Partner with BPs to provide targeted interventions for teams experiencing challenges in morale, attrition, or engagement.
Analytics & Insights:
- Partner with People Business Partners to measure program effectiveness and track organizational health trends.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership based on engagement, performance, and retention data.
About you:
- 6 to 8 years of experience in Talent Management, People Programs, or People Business Partnerships within high-growth SaaS or tech companies.
- You’ve been a People Business Partner and loved the program-building side of the role, you enjoy turning business needs into scalable talent solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to design, deliver, and scale talent programs that support business strategy.
- Expertise in the following areas: performance management, career frameworks, succession planning, leadership development, engagement/retention.
- Strong facilitation and communication skills with experience engaging leaders and employees at multiple levels.
- Data-driven mindset, you leverage metrics and insights to guide decision-making.
- You thrive in hyper-growth environments and enjoy building programs that balance structure with flexibility.
