Management Accountant

London

With over 1000 people working together to shape our fantastic culture, no matter the role or the location, we’re all united in the vision to lead the programmatic industry and make it better. We are looking for two exceptional Management Accountants to support the Finance team in providing valuable information to all stakeholders within the global business.  As the department, and business, are growing rapidly there is scope for you to really make this role your own.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITITES:

Delivering Results

  • Ensuring the integrity of data that we deliver to management is of the highest quality
  • Ability to prioritise the inputs and see how your work adds value and drives towards key objectives vs focusing on smaller tasks
  • Ability to co-ordinate and project manage with external auditors whilst keeping to audit deadlines.
  • To be objective and improve financial processes where possible.

Analysing

  • Analysing and delivering key revenue and profitability reports, on a monthly basis, for all levels of management
  • Overhead and Revenue reporting
  • P&L analysis, and the ability to tie this in to the budgeting process
  • Ensuring insights from analysis are clear and action oriented
  • Ability to link together various different data sets or analysis pieces
  • Be interested, or have experience, in data visualisation
  • Heightened attention to detail to identify any errors at the early stages.
  • Comfortable working with different currencies.

Internal Collaboration

  • Ability to communicate well with both financial and non-financial stakeholders, listening and understanding their needs
  • Work across the business to advise on process improvements

Communication

  • Communication is concise, precise and impactful
  • Emphasis on delivering tailored and actionable reports with appropriate level of integrity or compliance
  • Experience working with external auditors

Commercial and Entrepreneurial thinking

  • To be pro-active and suggest any areas where processes can be automated or scaled
  • Have some ownership over the smooth running of our accounting software, Workday

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

 

  • Excel: Proficiency at an intermediate to advanced level.
  • Audit Background: Previous experience in an audit environment is essential.
  • Qualifications: CIMA (or equivalent) qualification required.
  • Systems Knowledge: Experience with Workday, Business One, or Vision is advantageous but not essential.
  • Software: Familiarity with Caseware is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Accounting Standards: Knowledge of FRS 102 and IFRS statutory accounting is beneficial but not required.
