ModMed is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst professional to manage the Cloud Infrastructure and Web Services expense categories. This high-impact role offers significant visibility and interaction with senior leaders across multiple functions within the company. As a Financial Analyst in this capacity, the analyst will be responsible for financial planning, reporting, and analysis concerning the company’s investment in cloud infrastructure and other cost-of-goods-sold (COGS) categories pertaining to supporting ModMed’s product offerings.
Your Role:
- Develop, monitor, and maintain financial budgets, ensuring alignment with company objectives and strategies.
- Closely monitor invoices from third-party vendors and web hosting providers to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial agreements.
- Analyze financial data to report on financial results and variances, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for comprehensive financial planning and forecasting.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Ensure best practices in financial analysis and reporting are utilized and continuously improved upon.
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, required.
- Master's degree in Finance/Accounting/Engineering, preferred.
- 1 to 4 years of experience in corporate finance, FinOps, or consulting.
- Strong business modeling and financial forecasting skills required.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Comprehensive understanding of line-of-business software solutions: Adaptive Insights, Salesforce and NetSuite experience is a plus.
- Experience with BI/dashboard tools is a plus.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills and functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is mandatory.
- VBA, SQL, and related skill sets are preferred.
- Strong business partnering skills and collaboration across multiple functions.
- Experience with business intelligence software is highly preferred (Adaptive, Qlik, etc).
- Familiarity with large scale ERP or G/L packages is preferred (NetSuite).
