The Role:
As a Production Assistant, you’ll help the Producer team drive the creative and production processes of our projects. You'll collaborate closely with creative, producer, project managers and account teams, to help execute on creative ideas that resonate with our brands. Your responsibilities will revolve around managing administrative tasks, timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time and within-budget project deliveries. You will need to be level-headed, hard-working, creatively driven and unflappable under challenging timeframes and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:
- Production process operations/file management and administration (initially 10%)
- Production finance support – Uploading agency and 3rd party cost estimates to UQuote/Share with AdPro
- Assist in the production of a variety of creative assets, including video, audio, and digital content
- Fully understand the Unilever AdPro Production process, policies and guidelines, and keep up to date on any changes
- Develop an understanding of the creative production process from inception to final delivery, through the Unilever Advertising Production lens
- Develop good relationships with the Unilever AdPro RAP team
- Collaborate with a diverse range of producers, writers, designers, editors and creative professionals to bring innovative concepts to life
- Support OUL team in ensuring all creative work meets brand guidelines and maintains high-quality standards, valuing diverse perspectives in our creative output
- Support the development of and amend project timelines and budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost-effectiveness
- Own the booking of agency, production team and talent travel and accommodation.
- Support talent contracts (with Producers/Business Affairs) and uploads to Permsec
- Communicate thoughtfully with colleagues and clients to understand their needs and offer solutions that resonate with a wide audience
- Efficiently manage multiple projects & workstreams simultaneously
- Stay abreast of client policies and support the team in meeting best production practices
- Keep abreast of industry trends and implement best practices, celebrating diversity and inclusivity in our approach
Requirements:
- Be extremely well organised, a proactive planner, capable of working across multiple projects simultaneously
- Understand how to take projects from brief, through creative development, into shoots, through post and on to delivery
- Have good budgeting, negotiation and scheduling skills
- Expertise in budget management and financial reporting, ensuring equitable resource allocation
- Be a confident contributor, comfortable managing your own workload
- Have exemplary written and spoken English
- Excellent communication skills to foster supportive relationships with agency, freelance colleagues and clients
- Keep teams up to date around the production process across, TV, Print, Social, Digital, OOH assets
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and client needs
- Be able to negotiate situations to ensure the best outcomes for the project, agency and client
- Have an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to learn and use project management software and tools, utilising technology
- Passion to develop knowledge of industry and best practices within Production
