Senior Operational Risk Manager
Who We Are

Collaborate with internal stakeholders across the company to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks across the organization.

Lead deep dives with the goal of documenting processes, risks, existing controls and identifying control enhancement opportunities; review and socialize with stakeholders as appropriate.

Assist with the Incident and Issue Management program, including the design of Action Plans to drive control enhancements and ensure risk exposures are being tracked, monitored and remediated.

Partner with stakeholders to investigate, report, and manage incidents in order to understand root cause and drive control enhancements.

Develop visually compelling and data-driven risk reporting that communicates complex information clearly and concisely to senior management and other relevant stakeholders.

Refine and manage control assurance initiatives to help drive a proactive and continuous risk-control environment. This includes methodology, training and awareness, and review/challenge of test results.

Stay up to date on emerging trends and regulations in the digital asset space, proactively identifying and addressing new risk considerations.

Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business, Finance or a related discipline.

Minimum 8+ years of experience in risk management, preference for those in Operational Risk roles within financial services or digital assets.

Proven experience in project and stakeholder management, independently conducting risk-control assessments, control testing activities, managing incidents, issues, and driving remediation efforts.

Strong understanding of Operational Risk and its framework elements; understanding of regulatory expectations is a plus.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor reporting to different audiences.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of a global organization.

Comfortable in a dynamic, fast paced and ever-changing landscape; adept at handling pilot initiatives and refining over time.

Experience working in / knowledge of the digital asset space (cryptocurrency, blockchain) is a plus.

Experience with GRC systems on a global scale is a plus.

Okcoin Statement:
The salary range for this position is $159,012 - $190,814. The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to the salary, a performance bonus and long-term incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
