About the role:

As a Senior Automotive Artist specializing in Unreal Engine, you will craft best-in-class, photorealistic content, demonstrating an exceptional eye for detail and aesthetic refinement. A deep understanding of CG pipelines, materials, lighting, and reflections is essential, along with strong animation and cinematography/videography skills. You will thrive on perfecting the nuances of motion and light, ensuring every piece is a showstopper, radiating emotion and telling a compelling visual story through both still and moving images.

The role is right for you if...

  • You are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, being able to take direction and provide it to your peers. You will enjoy sharing your knowledge whilst mentoring others, and strive to continually learn and develop proactively, keeping up to date with new software and techniques which help keep us ahead of the competition.
  • An interest in CG+AI (and how AI can be used to complement CG / content production as a whole) would be strongly advantageous.

What you will be doing:

  • Creating high-fidelity, photorealistic automotive assets and environments within Unreal Engine.
  • Developing and maintaining project-specific Unreal Engine pipelines.
  • Working closely with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements and deliver outstanding results.
  • Leading smaller project teams and mentoring junior artists (as required).
  • Optimising Unreal Engine projects for performance and stability.
  • Exploring and implementing new techniques and technologies to push the boundaries of automotive visualisation.
  • Troubleshooting technical issues and providing support to other team members.
  • Creating high-quality shaders and materials that accurately represent real world finishes.
  • Setting up realistic lighting and rendering solutions.
