Services Desk Lead

Position: We are looking for a candidate who is eager to continue learning and developing in the area of Networks and Support, with the ability to manage their time efficiently, good judgment for deciding between priorities, willingness and experience in following Security standards, guidelines and frameworks, and experience in Ethernet Networks, Windows OS and applications, to perform and be highly responsible in the role of Services Desk Lead at On.Energy.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Support and compliance with Corporate guidelines.
- Maintain and safeguard Corporate assets.
- Maintain and propose best practices in the IT area.
- Keep IT Infrastructure and the Systems used at On.Energy in proper working condition.
- Attend to and resolve user requests.
- Manage, document, execute, and follow up on tasks through to completion and closure.
- Install, configure, and keep all related Software up to date.
- Configure, administer, and monitor Network devices.
- Maintain confidentiality and safeguard all personal data belonging to users and Corporate data belonging to On.Energy.
- Report to the Technology and Software Management teams.
- Provide direct support to the Commissioning and Monitoring Management teams.
- Follow and enforce cybersecurity standards for the protection of data, equipment, and internal and external networks.
Requirements
Essential:
- Professional in the Networks area with at least 8 years of experience in Networks.
- High willingness to register and document tasks, events, incidents.
- Verifiable experience in configuration of Ethernet Devices and Networks: Network Classes (IP/MASK), WiFi, DHCP/Static, Gateway, DNS, FTP, NTP, SSH, VPNs, etc.
- Verifiable experience configuring Layer 2, Layer 3 and Next-Generation devices (Routers, Switches, Firewalls).
- Verifiable experience in designing network architectures that comply with Cybersecurity Frameworks guidelines.
- Verifiable experience with TPM 2.0 and BitLocker.
- Experience in installation, configuration, and updating of Windows 10/11 Pro.
- Experience in Linux.
- Experience in Windows user administration.
- Experience in installation, configuration, and updating of applications on Windows.
- Verifiable experience with administration, control and remote support applications.
- Verifiable experience working remotely.
- Experience in user support (help desk).
