The Position:

OpenTable is looking for a Sr Manager, HR Operations to join our growing team. In this position you will be responsible for HR data management and workforce analytics while building the shared services team. You will lead the team in the efforts of all employee life cycle transactions. As the Sr Manager, HR Operations you'll be a key liaison between the HRIS team and the larger People team.

In this role, you will:

  • Design and institute a shared service model for the HR function, by centralizing team-wide responsibilities and providing the broader People Operations strategy.

  • Manage, train, and coach the Global People Ops Services Team by setting expectations, providing constructive feedback, and managing workload to foster critical thinking and a solutions-oriented approach.

  • Define and monitor key performance indicators for team service levels, identifying opportunities to automate tasks and enhance service delivery through improved tools and workflows.

  • Direct efforts to continually standardize processes across the global organization and identify trends and areas of inefficiency for process improvements with key partner input (e.g., Risk, Payroll, Legal, IT)

  • Oversee global immigration coordination in partnership with external providers, ensuring accurate tracking of work authorization, visa expirations, and onboarding documentation for foreign nationals and global mobility cases.

  • Troubleshoot HR Transactions by engaging in root cause analysis and implementing solutions that are in the best interest of the employee and business

  • Lead the maintenance of Zendesk, enabling collection and analysis of data related to the productivity of HR transactions and employee inquiries; share findings and provide recommendations.

  • Lead regular audits of employee and HR transaction data across Workday processes to ensure accuracy, identify data quality issues, and ensure data consistency.

  • Own and maintain HR process documentation and knowledge base content to ensure accuracy and accessibility for employees and HR team members globally.

  • Partner with HR Systems and IT teams to maintain and enhance system configurations (e.g., Workday, Zendesk), ensuring data accuracy and operational efficiency.

  • Support the Global HR Operations team by answering tickets and troubleshooting employee and Contractor questions via a helpdesk/ticketing system (Zendesk)

  • 5 years of progressive work experience in HR systems and Operations

  • 2 years using Workday HRIS as an end user

  • Experience managing a dispersed team

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. The range for this Canada located role is $130,000 - 150,000 CAD.

In addition to a competitive base salary, roles are eligible for additional compensation and benefits including: annual cash bonus; health benefits; flexible spending account; retirement benefits; life insurance; paid time off (including PTO, paid sick leave, medical leave, bereavement leave, floating holidays and paid holidays); and parental leave and benefits.
