As the company continues its growth, we are looking for someone to join our UK Finance team to help the company and team prepare for scale. The Accounts Assistant will report to the Director, Risk & Compliance and will be a key member of Ping’s controllership team. Candidates for this position should be ambitious, organized, and detail oriented.
Responsibilities include:
Accounts Payable
- Enter Accounts Payable (“AP”) vendor invoices from global operations
- Assist with preparation of payment runs
- Monitor AP inbox to ensure appropriate processing time and resolution of issues
- Research and resolve discrepancies arising from vendor disputes and payment differences
- Ensure vendor onboarding controls and bank changes are maintained to mitigate risk of fraud
- Provide excellent customer service to Company’s departments and management involved in Ping’s end to end AP process
Travel Expenses
- Review and verify employee expenses to ensure alignment with Ping’s Travel & Expense policy
- Ensure T&E queries are answered timely to provide internal customer focus and excellent employee experience
- Monitor development of Concur (travel booking and expense reclaim) and ensure system is fit for purpose
Accounting & Other
- Prepare cash reporting for company’s Wells Fargo corporate bank accounts
- Provide cash detail for weekly cash reporting to investors
- Reconcile bank accounts for monthly accounting close
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company’s accounting processes
- Prepare and maintain documentation to support SOX and financial statement audit requests
- Projects: We are a growing company so you will have opportunities to work on special projects
Experience:
- Previous AP or General accounting experience
- Expense policy and verification experience
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Experience with a suitable ERP accounting system (eg NetSuite)
- Competent knowledge of Excel
- Collaborative personality with excellent communication skills
