The Director of the Business Transformation Office (BTO) is a strategic leader responsible for managing a team of skilled project managers who drive cross-functional programs and initiatives aligned with Ping’s corporate goals. Reporting to the CIO, this role collaborates closely with Product & Engineering to plan and execute business-focused solutions across Ping’s departments. This hybrid, full-time role in Denver requires SaaS industry experience, cross-functional collaboration expertise, and the ability to drive program prioritization, resource planning, and change management to ensure high-impact delivery.
You Will:
- Lead cross-functional programs and initiatives, including new product launches, product migrations, end-of-life transitions, acquisitions, and pricing & packaging transformations.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing insights on resource allocation, prioritization, and business impact, ensuring team efforts align with strategic goals.
- Partner with stakeholders to scope, shape, and prioritize initiatives aligned with corporate strategy and resource capacity.
- Guide program prioritization and ensure strategic alignment across departments.
- Ensure successful engagement on initiatives by aligning teams, addressing concerns, and proactively resolving conflicts.
- Apply project management best practices, maintaining consistency through tools and templates.
- Optimize business processes to improve efficiency, predictability, and alignment with corporate goals.
- Oversee reporting and executive communication, including dashboards and presentations tailored for diverse audiences.
- Manage and develop a team of five project managers, ensuring professional growth and high-impact execution.
- Partner with other project focused teams to align on business priorities, collaborate on critical systems and processes, and ensure effective project and resource allocation across teams.
You Have:
- Proven program/project management leadership experience in SaaS technology companies.
- Experience managing high-performing project management teams and driving execution.
- Expertise in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Smartsheet, RAID logs, RACI).
- Ability to translate business strategy into structured, executable programs.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and executive communication skills.
- Experience in resource planning and budgeting within project-driven organizations.
You Have an Advantage If:
- Experience with M&A integrations.
- Background in driving process maturity within a PMO or Business Transformation Office.
- PMP certification or equivalent.
USA: $164,000 - $170,800 + Bonus
In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
