Role Purpose Statement:
Blending the analytical and logical processing of sales compensation, you will gain training and exposure to the field of Sales Comp, being responsible for the monthly processing and reporting of global commissions under a tight deadline, fielding inquiries from the sales team, and managing our commissions software solution, Xactly.
Additionally, there will be ad-hoc data analysis, systems management, and the need to partner with global sales leaders and executives, requiring communication with clarity.
You Will:
- Gain and maintain a deep understanding of the compensation plans, our strategy, products, and sales team structure.
- Lead the monthly process of calculating, analyzing, and validating complex commission payments; includes reconciling data from Salesforce.com to Xactly, processing data within Xactly, and reviewing output for accuracy and adherence to the comp plan within a quick close timeline.
- Preparing commission reports and additional ad-hoc analysis and reporting for stakeholders in accounting, finance and payroll.
- Maintaining employee data and compensation plans in Xactly for new hires, terminations, and role changes.
- Provide timely, accurate and professional resolution of commission inquiries from the field about discrepancies and compensation guidance, and process adjustments as necessary.
- Supporting the annual sales compensation planning process by setting up the commissions tool to administer and process compensation plans at the beginning of each year
You have:
- 3+ years of experience in sales commissions, finance, sales operations, or related fields.
- Experience with Xactly Incent (Xactly Analytics also preferred)
- Analytical mind, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy, including being comfortable working in and between systems, and with large data sets.
- Superior Excel skills are a must, with experience using formulas and pivot tables.
- Excellent communication skills, positive attitude and ability to work effectively across departments and present insights to senior leadership.
You have an advantage if:
- Experience with Anaplan and Salesforce.com preferred.
- Curiosity and desire to learn and grow beyond the initial role and gain Global experience.
Salary Range: $93,000 - $110,000
In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
