  • Card Issuing: A fully featured platform for Visa, Mastercard, or private level issuing of credit and prepaid cards. Pismo’s platform allows its customers to control everything from client acquisition to account management.
  • Digital Banking & Wallets: Pismo provides a transaction banking core for modern digital banking experiences, from easy client acquisition to enriched cash-in / cash-out operations and internal transfers / P2P transactions.
  • Seller Management: From the onboarding to the daily management of each seller, Pismo’s platform runs a workflow process with pertinent settlement and commercial parameters for each transaction, such as MDR, clearing rules, settlement requirements, and days to pay.

 

Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of GSI Partnerships to drive and expand our relationships with strategic partners as part of our product and sales growth strategy. This role will focus on fostering and managing partnerships to drive revenue growth, enhance our product offering, and expand our presence within the core markets. As the Director of Partnerships, you will play a crucial role in aligning our company’s vision and solutions with those of our GSI partners to create joint sales, product and implementation value propositions that resonate with our global clients. 

 

What you'll do

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy to engage, enable, and grow relationships with global system integrators.
  • Identify growth opportunities within core banking, processing and lending sectors, aligning partnership goals with our company's objectives.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that partnership strategies are aligned with our product roadmap, go-to-market strategies, and customer needs.
  • Lead negotiations and create joint business plans with GSIs to drive successful, high-impact collaborations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all GSI-related activities, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration and successful client projects.
  • Establish KPIs and regularly assess partnership performance, reporting insights to the executive team.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure GSIs are equipped to position and implement our solutions effectively.
  • Organize joint workshops, training sessions, and enablement activities to foster stronger relationships and drive success in customer engagements.
  • Collaborate with sales, product, and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies that leverage GSI partnerships.
  • Drive joint marketing initiatives and co-selling opportunities, ensuring alignment in messaging and value propositions.
  • Work closely with account teams to develop joint pipelines, enhance lead generation, and accelerate deal closures.
  • Monitor fintech trends, competitor activities, and partner performance to identify potential threats and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with product teams to provide partner-driven feedback, ensuring our solutions meet evolving market needs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years in partnership management, with a proven track record of working with GSIs and/or within the fintech sector - ideally Deloitte / PWC / Accenture;
  • Demonstrable experience managing complex, multi-level partnerships with global scope, ideally in technology, software, or financial services industries;
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to structure and execute partnership agreements that drive mutual success;
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all organizational levels;
  • Strategic thinker who can balance big-picture vision with detailed execution;
  • Strong connections and network in strategic SI's;
  • Good experience in the US market across core banking / card processing;
