We’re looking for a Junior Accountant (m/f/d) to join one of the companies in the A11 ecosystem and support critical day-to-day finance operations, from bookkeeping to invoice reconciliation and internal reporting.

As a Junior Accountant, you’ll play a hands-on role in ensuring financial accuracy, supporting compliance, and driving efficiencies across the accounting function.

In this role, you’ll:

• Manage day-to-day preparatory bookkeeping tasks
• Prepare and execute remittances and payments
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with HGB and IFRS
• Collaborate with internal departments on tax and accounting matters
• Reconcile invoices and investigate discrepancies
• Issue invoices to customers and manage accounts receivable
• Liaise with the external accounting firm and support audit processes
• Contribute to finance initiatives to help optimize working capital internationally

Your Profile: 

• Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance—ideally in a startup or fast-paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a similar field
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially under pressure
• Advanced skills in Excel
• Fluent in English; German skills are a strong plus
• Familiar with accounting and finance systems such as DATEV, DUO, and expense tools; experience with Salesforce is a plus
• Ideally familiar with HGB and IFRS reporting standards
