Pure Storage is seeking a full-time Product Integration Engineer to work in our Technical Operations team for the Hyperscale Business Unit. This position plays a critical role in ensuring product quality, reliability, and continuous improvement at the manufacturing site and serves as a key technical liaison between Hardware Design, Test Engineering, and Product Quality during New Product introduction, ongoing product support, and new contract manufacturer bring up.
In this role you will be responsible for investigating product failures, identifying root causes, and driving corrective and preventive actions. Through effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, you will support both the launch of new products and the enhancement of existing products.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE…
- Proficiency in root cause analysis methodologies
- Hands-on experience with analytical tools, x-ray, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), oscilloscope, manufacturing test equipment, etc.
- Experience with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles and supporting NPI builds.
- Ability to clearly document and communicate technical findings to cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with shop floor control systems and product lifecycle management tools.
- Experience working in high-volume electronics or hardware manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with industry standards for reliability testing (e.g., JEDEC, IPC standards).
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles and certification (e.g., Green Belt), Test Script coding, Solid State Drive Hardware / Firmware design is a plus.
- We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Fountain Valley, CA office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
The annual base salary range is: $153,000 - $230,000
Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
