Who we are looking for
As a Product Manager at Re:Build, you will lead the early-stage development of innovative AI applications with the potential to transform engineering and design workflows. You'll be responsible for identifying high-impact problems, driving customer discovery, rapidly iterating on prototypes, and validating solutions in real-world contexts. This role blends deep technical insight with business strategy to bring novel AI-powered tools—initially focused on embedded system design—to life.
You will work closely with engineering, design, and business teams to explore opportunities, build prototypes, and define the path from concept to product-market fit.
What you get to do
- Own the full early-stage product lifecycle—from problem discovery and hypothesis testing to MVP launch and validation.
- Collaborate with customers and internal users to discover problems and validate solution assumptions through rapid testing.
- Develop clear product hypotheses and success metrics; run lean experiments to validate ideas before scaling.
- Shape early digital product experiences that streamline complex design and engineering workflows.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to build scrappy, usable prototypes and translate customer insights into core product capabilities.
- Use generative AI and emerging technologies to reimagine traditional engineering processes such as requirements capture, ECAD/software generation, and validation.
- See opportunities for early value delivery and iterate quickly based on usage patterns and feedback.
- Influence long-term product direction by connecting early signals to future platform opportunities.
- Contribute to the foundation of Re:Build’s product development practices—helping define tools, rituals, and systems that support fast, customer focused innovation.
What you bring to the Team
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or an equivalent degree, with a master’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering highly desirable.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, with significant time spent building early-stage products from zero to one.
- Experience with Business Processes, Manufacturing, Engineering Design, CAE/CAD, generative AI, machine learning, or related areas.
- Proven ability to operate in high-ambiguity environments, define problems clearly, and drive fast-paced experimentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with and influence distributed and cross-functional teams.
- Entrepreneurial attitude and passion for building things that matter—ideally with startup or innovation lab experience.
