Who are we looking for?
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for efficiently and accurately processing customer orders and requests, acting as the customer liaison to engineering, production, shipping, and accounting departments. We seek an ambitious individual who thrives on complex issues that may require additional research and follow-up. This role is perfect for someone with a manufacturing background who is self-directed and aims to achieve flawless project execution.
What you get to do!
- Respond to inquiries on order status, changes, or cancellations.
- Review and manage bills of material on jobs.
- Keep information accessible by sorting and filing documents.
- Ensure compliance with government, company, and local policies, procedures, and regulations (DPAS, ITAR, ISO9001, AS9100, etc.).
- Maintain clear communication between operations and departments on critical, urgent, and essential parts and supplies.
- Coordinate various high-volume projects.
- Manage customer accounts.
- Handle order entry, scheduling, inventory control, invoicing, customer returns, and budgetary forecasting.
- Document procedures, and track and review processes accordingly.
What you will bring to the Team
- A high school education or general education degree (GED) required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Planner / Coordinator in a manufacturing environment
- At least 3 years of experience using ERP systems such as JobBoss, CSI Syteline, or equivalent for order/job creation, inventory transactions, bills of material, and record reconciliation
- Strong communication skills, especially the ability to write concise and accurate emails
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Strong mathematical skills
- Great teammate who can effectively interact with management and collaborate with other departments in the organization
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to successfully research and resolve direct shipment issues and concerns in an accurate, thorough, and timely matter with minimal assistance.
