What You’ll Do
This role supports the International team, it is based in Paris and reports to the Senior Manager Creative. The Designer VM – International is responsible for developing and adapting visual merchandising concepts for international retail environments, ensuring all executions align with global brand guidelines.
The ideal candidate translates global creative concepts into effective in-store solutions across multiple retail formats (e.g., Sephora, Nocibé, Douglas). They manage projects from concept to production, including planograms, 2D/3D adaptations, and final artwork preparation, while collaborating closely with Creative, Marketing, and Commercial teams to ensure high-quality and timely execution.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Support the development and adaptation of creative concepts for various retail projects, including permanent rollouts, planograms, trade events, and brand activations.
- Translate and adapt existing global designs to a variety of retail fixture formats (e.g., Sephora INTL, Nocibé, Douglas, ICE, etc.).
- Provide creative and technical solutions in line with brand guidelines and global creative direction.
- Manage project deliverables from concept to execution, including 3D & 2D design adaptation, technical drawings supervision, preparation of final artwork files, and follow-up with vendors and internal partners.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (Creative, Commercial, and Marketing teams) to ensure timely and high-quality execution of all materials.
- Competition analysis, follow the design trends, plan shop visits, check the best practices in beauty or any inspiration that could feed the team.
Must Haves:
EMENTS:
- Degree in Retail Design or Interior Design with strong experience in beauty industry.
- 3-5 years of experience in in-store or retail design.
- Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, SketchUp, and V-Ray.
- Strong skills in planogramming & 2D design.
- Strong skills in 3D renderings creation.
- Deep knowledge of print production, file preparation, color management, vector vs. raster graphics, and production specs.
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines with a high level of detail and autonomy.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to receive and integrate constructive feedback.
- Strong collaborative mindset and ability to work with cross-functional teams while maintaining creative consistency.
