As Senior Manager, Technical Program Management, you will lead a group of dedicated technical program managers, establish standards for quality project management, and help us improve how we deliver projects. You will collaborate and coordinate across our global Quality Engineering organization. This role also includes handling 3rd party vendor management and device management for our test team. Leadership

  • Experience in a senior management role, with a track record of leading successful teams and projects
  • Lead and grow a team of Quality Engineering TPMs
  • Coach and mentor your team to continue developing their skills and expertise
  • Establish a collaborative work environment that encourages trust, autonomy, and innovation
  • Develop strategic roadmaps and resource plans to efficiently implement ambitious projects
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, capable of encouraging and motivating teams to achieve ambitious goals

Program Management and QE Process

  • Define, document, and drive adoption of project management and quality engineering processes that ensure efficient execution and scalability
  • Collaborate with multi-functional leadership to facilitate sophisticated quality engineering work and drive technical alignment across a large, distributed team
  • Handle dependencies between multiple key programs across the product development portfolio
  • Proactively identify and document project risks, issues, and dependencies, assess impact, and propose mitigation strategies
  • Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to quickly identify and implement effective solutions
  • Experience with hardware development schedules is a plus
  • Manage the budget for hardware devices and 3rd party tools
  • Develop and maintain relationships with 3rd party vendors
  • Order test devices, and manage inventory and distribution to ensure seamless operations

Communication

  • Proficient in written and verbal communication, with excellent presentation skills
  • Proficient at nurturing relationships with colleagues at all organizational tiers
  • Able to effectively present information to diverse technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proficiency in Japanese language and experience with Japanese office culture desired

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.

$174,200 - $261,200 USD
