PlayStation Creative Studios is seeking a talented Contract Brand Designer in support of Bungie. As a Brand Designer you will join a multi-disciplinary group of designers, strategists and producers to produce creative designs that establish, elevate, support and extend the Bungie brand across our marketing channels. As a Brand Designer you will conceptualize and execute a variety of creative solutions for internal and external marketing campaigns, working directly with Creative Directors, brand management, art directors and production. Your role will be essential in maintaining and evolving the brand guidelines for Bungie and establishing the systematic design approach to our creative needs to bring the game to market. Our ideal candidate is passionate about the first-person shooter space and has experience in video game publishing or creative services on global entertainment brands. You are comfortable working quickly across multiple projects and adapting to the ever-changing needs of live-service game publishing.

Responsibilities 

  • Design and maintain the production of brand design systems and visual design for publishing, marketing and sales for Bungie.
  • Collaborate closely with Creative Studios disciplines, Internal Stakeholders, Brand Management and Marketing Directors to design and evolve the visual language and graphic systems used throughout our player-facing content
  • Create and systemize exceptional designs with a focus on the major marketing channels
  • Design and deliver high-volume static assets across 1st and 3rd party platforms in multiple languages, specifications and delivery formats
  • Design branded presentations and style-guide documentation in collaboration with Creative Directors and franchise stakeholders
  • Work directly with Creative Directors, producers, brand managers, and art directors to ensure accuracy and quality of design delivery across projects and campaigns
  • Participate in design reviews and provide actionable feedback to internal and external partners to maintain design consistency

Required Skills 

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating creative excellence, brand development and design discipline
  • Body of work and/or portfolio that demonstrates a keen understanding of the design sensibilities that are in line with current Bungie Brand style and aesthetics
  • 2-4 years of work-related experience as a brand designer or graphic designer.
  • Expert knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign; experience with Figma, Miro, PowerPoint and other collaboration tools
  • Passion for design fundamentals such as typography, composition, and how graphic design can be most effective in communicating ideas, big and small 
  • Ability to quickly iterate through design details and communicate ideas concisely with designers, other leads and directors
  • Flexible, adaptable and familiar working in a fast paced and evolving environment
  • Professional attitude and an ability to take constructive criticism 
  • Comfortable collaborating with a broad range of disciplines and not afraid to bring every stakeholder into the process to help craft the best possible final product
  • Demonstrated experience successfully working with a cross-disciplinary design team

Nice-to-Have Skills 

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications Design, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Industrial Design or related area
  • A combination of education and experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree 
  • Experience with After Effects and Motion Graphics pipelines
  • Experience with best practices for social content and platforms, including GIF creation
  • Avid first-person shooter player and experience with Extraction Shooters
  • Passion for Bungie and its history
  • Familiarity with Bungie’s current and past releases
