Senior Director, Program Management – Enterprise Enablement

San Diego, CA

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) is seeking a visionary Senior Director of Program Management, Enterprise Enablement to lead, inspire, and elevate the teams responsible for enabling enterprise-wide capabilities. This leader will drive efficiency, quality, and innovation across SIE’s internal-facing initiatives—empowering employees to deliver exceptional outcomes for customers and creators.

The ideal candidate is a proven leader of technical program management teams, with deep experience in IT, Security, and enterprise systems. They bring strategic vision, operational rigor, and the ability to foster collaboration across global, cross-functional teams. This role will also serve as a key voice to executives, providing transparency on program progress, risks, and value delivered.

Key Responsibilities

Build and Lead Teams

  • Attract, develop, and retain a high-performing, geographically distributed program management team.

  • Inspire, mentor, and lead technical program managers overseeing complex, full-stack, outcome-driven initiatives.

Strategic Program Management

  • Define and drive program delivery strategies from concept to execution, ensuring speed, agility, and alignment to business needs.

  • Establish best practices across IT, Security, and enterprise platforms to optimize outcomes and value.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Serve as the voice of program health and progress to senior executives and peers.

  • Partner with leadership across IT, Security, Engineering, Product, and Design to streamline processes, mitigate risks, and maximize efficiencies.

Efficiency & Innovation

  • Identify and scale shared services to reduce duplication and improve enterprise-wide alignment.

  • Continuously evaluate and refine program management processes to accelerate delivery and create measurable ROI.

  • Champion innovation and encourage teams to “do more with less” without sacrificing quality.

Leadership & Culture

  • Model a culture of ownership, accountability, and urgency to equip internal teams with the tools they need to succeed.

  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across all teams and geographies.

  • Balance respect for legacy systems with a drive for continuous improvement and future-focused transformation

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 15+ years of leadership experience managing global technical program management teams at scale.

  • Proven success in leading IT and/or Security initiatives across diverse geographies and cultural contexts.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with senior executives while driving complex, cross-functional initiatives.

  • Expertise in leveraging data, metrics, and technology to measure impact and drive decision-making.

  • Track record of advocating for and implementing technology investments, particularly in data-driven program management.

  • Deep knowledge of program and portfolio management practices, tools, and methodologies.

  • Experience leading strategic change initiatives across enterprise organizations.

  • Strong communication, analytical, and planning skills with a focus on execution and outcomes.

  • Knowledge of the gaming or digital entertainment industry (preferred).

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.

$255,500 - $383,300 USD
