Role Overview:

Sony Interactive Entertainment seeks a results-driven Product Manager to advance PlayStation's monetization capabilities across new product lines and markets. 

This is a high-impact role that demonstrates strong technical, data and business skills to deliver innovative features for our customers and partners across the entire PlayStation eco-system. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead monetization initiatives across a broad area of new products and markets. 

  • In a matrix organization, drive execution of multiple monetization initiatives, including (but not limited) to storefronts, in-game and subscriptions experiences.  

  • Develop and communicate product vision and strategy for these monetization initiatives by deeply understanding user needs, business goals, market trends, and competition. 

  • Translate product strategy into clear, detailed and actionable product requirements. 

  • Create and manage comprehensive product roadmaps, align business and technical needs, turn data and insights into actionable projects, prioritize features and determine rollout strategy. 

  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to build best-in-class solutions, balancing long-term platform needs and short-term journey optimizations. 

  • Build positive relationships with business stakeholders, drive priorities aligned to business goals and communicate product roadmaps. Support go-to-market planning and execution. 

  • Regularly report on key metrics and address performance issues and risks to work towards successful achievement of goals. Understand and communicate effectively how your product is used in market. 

  • Drive a culture of quality, customer-centricity, scalability, and reliability. 

  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to develop customer-focused solutions that are both compliant and optimized. 

  • Be a champion of PlayStation's cultural values - driving innovation and collaboration at all levels. 

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business or technical field or equivalent experience. 

  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in product management. E-commerce and gaming experience preferred. 

  • Strong ability to navigate broad, complex problem spaces with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.   

  • Excellent communication skills, ability to summarize technical conversations or partner requests in a clear and concise manner via written and verbal communication and effective partner engagement skills. 

  • Proven success partnering closely with engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.

$168,900 - $253,300 USD
