Talent Product Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a Talent Product Manager to bridge the gap between Talent Strategy and People Technology. This role will ensure that our Talent Philosophy and frameworks are effectively translated and integrated into the design of our Talent tools and broader HR technology stack. The Talent Product Manager will partner closely with the People Technology team, HR Centers of Excellence, and cross-functional stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize digital experiences that support performance management, learning, talent development, and employee growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Talent Management, L&D, Performance, and Compensation teams to translate talent philosophies, performance frameworks, competency models and development pathways into system requirements, design and functionality to enable scale and adoption.
  • Collaborate and drive alignment with between Talent and Technology processes and teams to define functional and technical specifications, ensure optimal configuration and user experience for new and existing HR systems (e.g., Workday, performance platforms, learning systems, compensation systems).,
  • Serve as the voice of the employee and HR practitioner in product design, ensuring that solutions are intuitive, user-friendly, and aligned with SIE’s cultural values.
  • Design intuitive user experiences for managers and employees within talent management workflows based on validated workflow process designs and user research and feedback to continuously improve system usability and adoption
  • Contribute to the UX and design process for HR technologies, shaping employee experiences from concept to launch.
  • Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle for talent-related systems, including roadmap planning, feature prioritization, testing, and adoption.
  • Build strong partnerships across HR, IT, and the business to ensure system design supports strategic talent priorities.
  • Monitor and evaluate system performance, leveraging feedback, data, and analytics to continuously improve user experience.
  • Stay informed on emerging HR technology trends and provide thought leadership on how digital solutions can enhance SIE’s Talent strategy.
  • Change Leadership and stakeholder management experience during new talent technology implementations and process improvements including training and process optimization to HR practitioners and managers on talent system functionality

Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years in talent management, performance management, HR technology, or product management roles with demonstrated experience in requirements gathering, roadmap development, and lifecycle management
  • Product management experience with proven track record in defining requirements, managing product lifecycles, and driving change management initiatives with measurable adoption results
  • Advanced HRIS expertise in Talent Management, Performance Management, Compensation Planning and reporting modules, including system configuration, optimization, and HRIS integrations (WorkDay preferred)
  • Talent process proficiency with hands-on experience in goal-setting frameworks, competency models, talent assessment processes, and skills-based talent approaches
  • Strong analytical and technical skills including HR analytics, dashboard creation, data-driven decision making, and translating business needs into technical solutions
  • User experience focus and passion for designing simple, engaging employee and manager experiences that align with talent philosophy and organizational objectives
  • Collaboration and influence with demonstrated ability to influence and partner across technical and non-technical teams, HR, IT, and business stakeholders at all levels
  • Change management capabilities with track record of stakeholder engagement and  involvement to solve competing priorities and business challenges to drive adoption
  • Certifications in Talent & Performance Management, WorkDay, Change Management, Project Management

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location. 

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

This is a flexible role that can be remote, with varying pay ranges based on geographic location. For example, if you are based out of Seattle, the estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.

$137,200 - $205,800 USD
