Role overview:
Sony Interactive Entertainment (PlayStation) is hiring a Go-to-Market Manager to act as a product manager for how major initiatives go to market for D2C. You will turn customer insights, competitive intelligence, and data insights into clear go-to-market strategies: defining the problem, sizing the opportunity, shaping the value proposition, and driving cross-functional teams from early concept through launch to execution and adoption.
You cut through ambiguity, frame the right questions, bring structure to complexity, and influence product direction with sharp analytical thinking. Partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Data Science, and Finance, you’ll ensure PlayStation’s biggest bets land in market with clarity, impact, and measurable commercial results.
What you'll be doing:
- Drive analytical decision-making across the lifecycle by performing data analysis, building critical metric frameworks, and translating insights into GTM plans, performance improvements, and business cases.
- Define, forecast, and monitor commercial outcomes, such as acquisition, adoption, churn, retention, ARPU, and LTV — using insights to guide product iteration, market sequencing, and investment choices.
- Act as a change and communication leader, crafting compelling narratives, influencing senior business partners, and ensuring teams and markets are prepared for new capabilities, features, and commercial models.
- Embed experimentation and personalization in GTM strategies by partnering with Data Science and Product to apply A/B testing, predictive models, and data-driven iteration.
- Shape and own end-to-end GTM strategy for major initiatives — from opportunity assessment and commercial sizing to positioning, planning, launch execution, and continuous optimization.
- Develop scalable GTM frameworks and playbooks, including segmentation, value proposition, pricing considerations, readiness planning, customer education, and change management.
- Lead cross-functional orchestration across product, engineering, marketing, data science, finance, and operations to ensure alignment on goals, customer outcomes, risks, and dependencies.
What we're looking for:
- 8+ years (or equivalent) experience of experience in consulting, commercial strategy, ecommerce, digital growth, or GTM for digital products.
- Strong analytical and data skills, including hands-on SQL, modelling, segmentation, funnel diagnostics, and insight generation.
- Structured, hypothesis-driven problem-solving, with an ability to bring clarity to complexity and operate in highly ambiguous environments.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, iterative, and experimental environment.
- Proven ability to translate strategy into measurable commercial outcomes, influencing product and business decisions.
- Experience with digital subscriptions, digital products' pricing, growth funnels, or personalized experiences.
- Familiarity with experimentation frameworks, A/B testing, and data-led optimization.
- Excellent communication and time management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience with commercial modelling (e.g., opportunity sizing, case development, scenario analysis).
What we value:
- Pace and Agility to react adjust to changed needs
- Passion for delivering measurable business and customer value
- Curiosity to learn from insights and translate data into action.
- A growth mindset and continuous improvement approach.
- Respect for diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences.
- Commitment to collaboration, transparency, and accountability.
- Acting as a strong voice of the customer and the market.
Benefits:
- Discretionary bonus opportunity
- Hybrid Working (within Flexmodes)
- Private Medical Insurance
- Dental Scheme
- 25 days holiday per year
- On Site Gym
- Subsidised Café
- Free soft drinks
- On site bar
